- 1 pound of spicy breakfast sausage
- 8 ounces of cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (10 ounces) of diced tomatoes and green chiles (like Rotel)
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- Optional: hot sauce to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the spicy breakfast sausage and cream cheese until combined.
- Add the drained Rotel and stir until mixed.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt, then add to the sausage mixture and mix gently.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool briefly before serving with dipping sauces.
