Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by seasoning your shrimp with the blackening seasoning. Make sure each piece is well coated; this will give you that delicious crust when cooked.
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, until they are blackened and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
- Add the cooked noodles and shrimp back to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy your spicy blackened shrimp stroganoff!
