- 1 pound of thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin work great)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced (green or red)
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- Optional toppings: sliced jalapeños, chopped parsley, or extra cheese
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients: slice beef, onion, bell pepper, and mince garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet; sauté onions and bell peppers for 5-7 minutes until soft.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Push vegetables to one side, add beef, season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce; cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Mix beef with sautéed vegetables.
- Assemble bowls with rice, beef, and vegetable mixture.
- Top with shredded provolone cheese and broil for melted cheese.
- Garnish with optional toppings and serve hot.
