  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by chopping vegetables and mincing garlic.
  2. Cook onion in olive oil, add carrots, celery, garlic, thyme, and rosemary.
  3. Add chicken and broth, season, bring to boil, then simmer until chicken is cooked.
  4. Shred the cooked chicken and return it to the pot.
  5. Mix dumpling batter with flour, baking powder, salt, milk, and butter.
  6. Drop dumplings onto soup and cook covered until fluffy.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
