Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and gather all ingredients.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Add melted butter and buttermilk, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in diced ham and shredded cheese gently.
- Pour 1/4 cup melted butter into a 9×13 inch baking dish, coating the bottom.
- Scoop biscuit dough into the dish, about 2 tablespoons each.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Cool for 5 minutes, then serve warm.
Notes
- For best results, do not overmix the dough.
- You can substitute ham with bacon or sausage if desired.
