- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook chopped bacon in a skillet until crispy, about 5-7 minutes, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
- In the same skillet, brown ground beef with salt and pepper for 8-10 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and bacon to the beef, cooking for another minute.
- Turn off heat, stir in cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and press seams to form a large rectangle.
- Spread the beef mixture over the dough, leaving a border.
- Roll the dough tightly from one end and seal the edges.
- Slice the roll into 1-inch pieces and arrange on a baking sheet.
- Brush with a mixture of melted butter and garlic powder.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly, garnish with green onions, and serve with dipping sauce.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the filling with additional toppings like jalapeños or different cheeses.
- These rollups are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days.
