- 8 ounces pasta (any type, penne or fusilli recommended)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 5 cups fresh spinach
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Optional (red pepper flakes for heat)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, thickening for 2-3 minutes.
- Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss to combine and simmer for another minute.
- Serve hot, garnished with more Parmesan if desired.
