- 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Wash and slice strawberries and peaches.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the fruit with lemon juice, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl.
- Combine oats, flour, cinnamon, salt, and brown sugar; add melted butter and mix until crumbly.
- Layer the fruit mixture in a greased baking dish, then top with the crumbly mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
