- 1 orange, sliced

- 1 teaspoon allspice berries
- 1 cup brown sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- Optional: rum or bourbon for a spirited twist
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and tools, slice the orange.
- Heat apple cider in a large pot, then add spices.
- Add orange slices and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Stir in brown sugar, adjust sweetness, and simmer for 5 more minutes.
- Strain out spices and orange slices.
- Serve warm, garnished with a cinnamon stick or orange slice, optionally add rum or bourbon.
