Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix pecans, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  3. Add melted butter to the sugar mixture and combine well.
  4. In another bowl, mix yellow cake mix with salt, then add water and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Layer the pecan mixture in the baking dish, then pour the cake batter on top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until edges bubble and top is golden brown.
  7. Cool for 10 minutes before serving warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
