- 1 large flatbread (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup marinara sauce (or pesto for a twist)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- ¼ cup Kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prep all ingredients.
- Place the flatbread on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season.
- Spread marinara sauce (or pesto) evenly over the flatbread.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and add cherry tomatoes, olives, and red onion.
- Add fresh spinach leaves on top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and flatbread is crisp.
- Garnish with olive oil and fresh basil, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Feel free to customize toppings according to your preference.
- For a crunchier crust, bake an additional 2-3 minutes.
