- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 packet of Italian dressing mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) of cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz of penne pasta (uncooked)
- 1 cup of fresh spinach (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Gather and season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Place seasoned chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Pour chicken broth and cream of chicken soup over the chicken.
- Sprinkle Italian dressing mix on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks.
- Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring to combine.
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions.
- Add cooked pasta to the crockpot and stir gently.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
