- 1 medium head of green cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 pre-made pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
Instructions
- Prep the ingredients: chop cabbage, dice onion and garlic.
- Sauté onion in olive oil until translucent, then add garlic and cabbage with seasonings and cook until tender.
- Whisk eggs in a bowl until light and frothy.
- Combine sautéed mixture with eggs, ricotta, and half the mozzarella.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare the pie crust in a 9-inch dish.
- Fill the crust with the cabbage mixture and top with remaining mozzarella.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and set.
- Mix sour cream and dill for the sauce.
- Let the pie cool, then serve with dill cream sauce.
