Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup pesto sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook penne pasta until al dente and steam broccoli until bright green.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream and pesto sauce until smooth.
  3. Combine cooked pasta, chicken, broccoli, and sauce in a large bowl, mixing until well coated.
  4. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil and transfer the pasta mixture into it.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of the pasta bake.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly; broil for 2-3 minutes for a crispy topping if desired.
  7. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
