- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 pound baby potatoes, halved or quartered
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and trim green beans and wash baby potatoes; halve or quarter as needed.
- Cook chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy; remove and drain on paper towel.
- Add potatoes to the skillet with bacon fat; sauté for 10-12 minutes until browned and tender.
- Toss in green beans and a drizzle of olive oil; cook for 5-7 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and optional ranch mix; cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the crispy bacon back into the skillet; stir and heat through for 1 minute.
- Serve warm, garnished as desired.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust seasoning to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or lemon juice for added flavor.
