Irresistibly Cheesy Low Carb Philly Cheesesteak Casserole

A delicious and hearty casserole featuring flank steak, riced cauliflower, and melted provolone cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, riced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper (any color), sliced
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients: slice flank steak, rice cauliflower, slice onion and bell pepper, and mince garlic.
  2. Cook riced cauliflower in a skillet with olive oil for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove cauliflower, sauté onion and bell pepper in the same skillet for 5-7 minutes, then add garlic.
  4. Add flank steak, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper, cooking until browned.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and layer ingredients in a baking dish: cauliflower, veggies, steak, then cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Garnish with parsley, cool slightly, and serve warm.
