Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Layer sliced bananas at the bottom of the dish.
  3. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the bananas.
  4. Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the layers.
  5. Pour melted butter over the cake mix.
  6. Add optional walnuts or pecans and shredded coconut on top.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
  9. Top with whipped cream and garnish with a maraschino cherry.
