- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4–6 fresh jalapeños
- 1 lb bacon, cut in half
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and gather all ingredients and tools.
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese in a bowl until creamy.
- Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds if desired.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture and top with a piece of seasoned chicken.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a half slice of bacon and secure if needed.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until bacon is crispy.
- Let cool briefly before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Adjust the heat level by leaving seeds in the jalapeños.
- These bites can be prepared in advance and baked just before serving.
