- 1 lb ground beef (preferably lean)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 cup carrots, finely chopped
- 1 cup bell peppers, finely chopped (red, yellow, or green)
- 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
- 1 head of butter lettuce or iceberg lettuce, leaves separated
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and chop vegetables: carrots, bell peppers, and slice green onions.
- In a skillet, heat oil and cook ground beef until browned.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce; simmer.
- Add chopped carrots and bell peppers; cook until tender.
- Stir in green onions just before removing from heat.
- Assemble wraps by placing beef mixture in lettuce leaves and folding.
- Serve warm with optional dipping sauces.
